This clutch is designed to work only with the aftermarket design flywheel, see Figure 1.

This aftermarket flywheel can be identified by the following:

1. Aftermarket design does not use dowel pins to locate the clutch cover on the flywheel. See Figure 1.
2. Aftermarket design uses 5/16" shoulder bolts to attach the clutch cover to the flywheel.
3. Aftermarket design flywheel marking: 50-2701 or LFW140.
4. Original design flywheel uses 2 dowel pins to locate the clutch cover on the flywheel. See Figure 2 & 3.
5. Original design flywheel uses M8 bolts to attach the clutch cover on the flywheel.
6. Original design flywheel markings: 50-773, 773, 167458 or Ford logo.

Please contact Technical Support or your distributor for clutch set part numbers that match the original design flywheel.
